The Coming-of-Age of the Modular Stadium

We asked one of our most #InProductive sales executives what he thought would be an emerging market for 2019, and he didn’t hesitate for a minute before answering, “Modular stadiums.”

Following is a little more detail from Danny Ellis, who has spent a career envisioning the design and installation of our assets for major events and projects, such as the Waste Management Phoenix Open, the USL Phoenix Rising stadium build, and Lollapalooza.

“People are gathering. Whether it’s football, or music festivals, or pop-up event spaces in the middle of nowhere, people are gathering to experience events together … in person. Our stadium capability — we can put up a properly designed stadium housing 5-15,000 people in under a month — means that you can add a stadium to a new school. Also, a new team doesn’t have to wait years to build the house that Ruth built for their new fans to come and cheer.

And, even if you don’t need the entire stadium, we can provide tens of thousands of seats, built in a short amount of time. This additional seating can easily be paid for by the increased spectator attendance. The modular nature of our stadiums, means you can start at a few thousand seats and grow incrementally as your fan base does. High end hospitality areas can be added as well. Move over, pop-up stores; 2019 is the year of the temporary stadium, and we are just the team to build it.”
